Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using Restoration Academy (“the Service”), operated by Water Damage Cleanup .AI Corp (“we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” includes that company.

2. License to the content

Subscribing grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access course content for personal or internal team-training use only. You may not redistribute, re-sell, publicly re-publish, sublicense, or otherwise make this content available to anyone outside your own organization's assigned seat holders, or load it onto your own website, learning platform, or training system, except under a separate written license agreement.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not, and may not permit or assist anyone else to:

• Scrape, crawl, spider, data-mine, or use any automated means (bots, scripts, headless browsers, or similar tools) to access, index, or extract content, video, pricing, or account data from the Service;
• Bypass, disable, or interfere with access controls, rate limits, subscription gating, or any other technical measure that restricts access to the Service;
• Download, cache, mirror, or bulk-export video or lesson content outside normal in-app playback;
• Copy any video, lesson script, caption, or quiz into your own website, app, learning platform, or training system, whether by hand, by screen recording, or with software;
• Share account credentials, or use one account/seat across more people than it was assigned to;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models, prompts, or source code behind the Sandbox Agent or Documentation Camera tools;
• Use the Service to build a competing product or training catalog.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without refund, for any violation of this section, and reserve all other legal remedies available to us.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Training Videos are billed per location and cover every technician at that location. The Sandbox Agent + Customer Sales Tool is billed per person and is not included in Training Videos. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled. Organization admins are solely responsible for assigning and revoking access among their own staff, and for any activity under the access they assign. All sales are final. We do not give refunds or credits, including for unused time, unused seats, or canceled subscriptions, except where required by law.

5. No professional advice, no certification

The Service provides independent training content and AI-assisted tools (Sandbox Agent, Documentation Camera). It is not a certification or credentialing body, does not guarantee passage of any third-party exam, and nothing in the Service constitutes professional, safety, engineering, or legal advice. See the Disclaimer for the full scope of what the content and AI tools do and do not represent.

6. Assumption of risk

Water-damage restoration work involves real, serious hazards (electrical, structural, biological, chemical, and others). You acknowledge that any decision made on an actual job site is yours alone, made using your own training, judgment, your employer's protocols, applicable law, and manufacturer instructions — never this Service's content or AI output. You assume all risk arising from field work, regardless of anything presented in the Service.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any AI-generated output (including from the Sandbox Agent or Documentation Camera) is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job site or decision.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including any decision made on a job site in reliance on the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; any job-site decision, injury, or property damage connected to your restoration work; or content you submit (including photos) through the Sandbox Agent or Documentation Camera.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct we reasonably believe harms the Service or other users. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not subject to a separately agreed arbitration clause will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

12. Changes; severability

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
